Daxxify is one of four neuromodulators offered at Arkatiea Aesthetics & Wellness, alongside Botox, Jeuveau, and Xeomin. Where the others share a fairly similar duration profile, Daxxify was specifically engineered to solve one problem: how to make the results last longer without changing what makes botulinum toxin work in the first place.

What Makes Daxxify Different
Most botulinum toxin formulations use human serum albumin to stabilize the active toxin molecule. Daxxify (daxibotulinumtoxinA-lanm) replaces that with something new: a synthetic, lab-engineered peptide. According to the manufacturer's FDA approval announcement, Daxxify is powered by Peptide Exchange Technology — a proprietary, 35-amino-acid stabilizing peptide — making it free of human serum albumin or animal-derived components, and the first true innovation in neuromodulator formulation in over 30 years. A clinical overview published in a dermatology journal notes that this peptide-based stabilizer is engineered to help the toxin remain active at the neuromuscular junction for longer than traditional formulations allow.
The Duration Data

This formulation change is the reason Daxxify exists. Trade press coverage of its FDA approval reported that the treating physician looked forward to helping patients accustomed to a 3-to-4-month duration with conventional neuromodulators achieve results with as few as two treatments per year. That claim was backed by the SAKURA Phase 3 clinical trial program — the largest ever conducted for glabellar lines, spanning more than 2,700 patients and roughly 4,200 treatments. Results from that trial, reported by HCPLive, showed a median duration of 6 months, with some patients maintaining results out to 9 months.

Onset Speed
Despite lasting longer, Daxxify isn't slower to take effect. The same SAKURA trial data cited by HCPLive reported that results were typically apparent within 2 days, with some patients seeing visible improvement as early as the first day after treatment.
Who Daxxify Is a Good Fit For
Daxxify tends to appeal most to people who are already comfortable with neuromodulators and are specifically looking to reduce how often they need to come in — going from three or four appointments a year down to as few as two. It's not a fundamentally different treatment from Botox, Jeuveau, or Xeomin in terms of what it does; it's the same category of treatment engineered to hold its effect longer. As with any neuromodulator, results and duration vary by individual.
